Wine rack or gin rack handmade from pallet wood & other reclaimed timber wherever possible. Each item will be unique due to the slight differences in timber used. There will be variations in colour, texture, grain, knots & the dents, knocks & holes from the wood’s previous life. These hold wine or gin glasses & are designed to be wall mounted. If you would like a message on a small engraved wooden plaque adding to the back rail or a short phrase beautifully engraved onto the front rail of the rack or raised lettering which can be added anywhere on the rack please select the option when ordering. These can be used inside or outside (we had ours hung on a wall next to our outdoor kitchen at our previous house & plan to again once we build a new one!). We oil the racks using Treatex Exterior Oil. This is a beautiful oil made from sunflower oil & other natural oils & waxes & no nasty chemicals. This oil makes the racks suitable for outdoor use but we recommend you oil them again at least annually to maintain the protection if you’re going to use it outdoors to help it stand up to the ‘Great British Weather’. This also (in our opinion) enriches the colour & grain of the wood & makes it even more beautiful. You can ask us not to oil them if you prefer to treat them yourself.
