Handcrafted Oak Whiskey Barrel Drinks Cabinet with a personalised finish. What sets our Drinks Cabinets apart from others is, they have been purposely designed for both the home & the garden. They make for cosy interiors in winter & on those balmy summer evenings, simply roll the barrel onto the patio, plug it in & relax. EXTERIOR All doors are furnished with heavy-duty exterior-grade hardware. These include 4 strap hinges & an adjustable hasp lever latch. At the rear of the barrelhead, a small weep hole has been drilled through to the outside, ensuring that any rainwater or spillage is drained away. Before sealing the barrel, all hoops are treated with a rust converter, which inhibits & neutralises any remaining rust & seals out moisture to prevent future rusting. The cabinet is then finished with an ultra-durable all-weather UV protection clear satin varnish. The above measures help make this cabinet ideal for any outdoor or indoor occasion. INTERIOR The inside of the cabinet is also sealed using two coats of acrylic clear satin varnish. Fitted to the underside of the barrelhead are: - Two hanging glass racks on either side. - A 240v dimmable ‘warm glow’ LED strip light in the centre. Two 20mm thick chamfered edge shelves are fitted as follows: - A fixed D shaped midway shelf - A circular lower shelf (also see options below). Under the lower shelf, discreet weep holes are drilled through the base to allow for drainage of spillages or any water ingress during rainfall. PERSONALISATION A personalised motif, i.e. club logo, clan crest, coat of arms, or any insignia of your choice can also be added to the barrelhead.
