ABOUT THE PRODUCT All calligraphy is hand-lettered & is not done in a digital font. So you are sure to have a unique rug! The doormats are made of 100% natural coconut coir. The bottom is made of latex, which reduces the risk of slipping. The mats are approximately 0,75 inches thick. The 2 available sizes are 16x24 inches (40x60 cm) & 24x35 inches (60x90 cm). The design is hand painted with exterior acrylic paint. Once the design has dried, the rugs are coated with a water-tight seal to add protection & extend the life of the rugs. CARE Although the water-tight seal does extend the life of the rugs, it is important to note that the rugs can fade, discolor, peel & degrade with time & use, just like any other material left outside & facing changing weather conditions such as rain, snow, hail, freezing temperatures & high heat. To prolong the life of your rug, it is therefore advisable to keep it in a dry & sheltered area. Decorative rugs are not intended for heavy use & an interior use is recommended. To clean it, shake it out or sweep/vacuum it. Do not wash. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. DELIVERY All rugs are made to order. Allow 5 to 7 business days for the making of the mat. Delivery time is added to that. My orders to the Canada & the USA ship with Purolator. (You will need to provide a physical address. Otherwise, I will have to ship it via Canada Posts, which typically has longer delays.) Shipping usually takes 1-2 days in Quebec & Ontario, & 2 to 7 days to the rest of Canada & the USA.
