Do you know a child that loves the wonderful story of ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ book by Michael Rosen & Helen Oxenbury? Or maybe they would like to discover it for the first time? Either way, this is the activity box for them! Together you can delve deeper into the story as they create three different activities to use as you read the story again (and again & again….). Each time your child can choose which activity they would like to use to enhance the story. With this box, they can choose to: - Add in their own sound effects using the bead shaker they’ve made. - Progress the characters along the story map they’ve cut out & created. - Add in some actions before becoming the bear using the felt mask they have put together. It’s up to them! Each activity comes with a child friendly photo instruction sheet for them to follow & suggestions of other story linked activities are included to enable you to extend the fun! The activities in this box are aimed at 3 to 6 year olds & support the EYFS curriculum providing opportunities to further develop a range of skills. The creating instructions are child friendly & nearly everything you need is in the box to make it super easy - just add scissors, glue & colours as the instruction sheets show.
