Waterford Cut Crystal - TRAMORE - Port Glasses Individually Sold Excellent port glases in superb condition from the world famous Irish glass manufacturer Waterford which had first produced quality glass for nobility & gentry in Waterford, Ireland in 1783. Legend has it that Irish glass gives sweeter sound than any other glass when tapped, it is softer & warmer to the touch & that the older Waterford glass could be identified with it’s blue tinge. (Waterford, An Irish Art) MEASURING 10 cm just under 4 tall, 6.5 cm. 2 1/2 in rim diameter, these lovely glasses are in excellent condition. They are stamped with the etched WATERFORD stamp.
