On offer are these two lovely collectible pepper shakers. They’re in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - notable specs of darkened ware over the larger shaker exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone) as well as light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of them. They’re of traditional form, plain in design yet elegant in appearance. Both tops feature a series of small holes perfect for shaking & sprinkling. One has a push-on top, the other has a screw to the underside. The taller shaker is marked T. D & S EPNS, the other is marked for Angora, both circa third quarter of the 20th century. They measure a charming 5cm (2 inches) & 7.5cm (almost 3 inches) in total height & are ready to be collected & enjoyed once again! The postage quote is for a Royal Mail tracked & insured service.
