On offer is this lovely collectible salt of pepper shaker. It’s in good condition overall, the remaining silver plate shines up well still - notable areas of ware all over the body however exposing the base Britannia metal (dark grey) as well as light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It’s of traditional form, beautifully decorated with various Dutch inspired designs - the detailing is of a good standard which displays well from all angles. The screw-on top features a series of six small holes around the finial perfect for shaking or sprinkling. American produced by the Weidlich Bros, circa early 1920’s. It measures a charming 9.5cm (3 & 3/4 inches) in total height & despite the condition issues raised is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
