This is a wonderful little antique bronze jeweler’s anvil, from early 20th century. Identical to the large iron anvils used by blacksmiths, but in miniature form & typically used in the work of hammering gold & silver jewelry. This one shows definite use on the anvil top & is stamped J.E.S. on the bottom with the year 1919. It has a beautiful antique patina & a nice weight. Would be great as a paperweight or a lovely piece or as a historical home decor to enjoy.
