Perhaps using an electrical tape canManson brand electrical tapewas an unusual aesthetic choice for a cute wintry scene. Unusual & different are good in my book. I created a sparkly, wintry forest in the electrical tape container using the bottom as the base & the lid as the backdrop. The inside of the lid is covered in reproduction vintage stock paper featuring Santa & his team; this is outlined with a vintage, candycane striped pipecleaner. The star in this tiny forest is a coy deer wearing a Santa hat. The deer is new, as are all materials except for the electrical tape tin & the tiny deer on the reverse side of this vignette. The deer on the front side sits in a forest of three natural sisal bottlebrush trees; one is decorated for Christmas with tiny red ornaments. If you look closely, you’ll see that one of the ornaments has fallen into the snow near one of the deer’s hooves. I sculpt the snow drifts out of foam, then cover in my own sparkly snow & finallyshower everything with ultra fine glitter. There is also a tiny scene on the reverse side featuring a teensy deer in his own little forest. The deer is 3/4 of an inch tall & is in a forest of three bottlebrush trees; the smallest tree is about 1/2 tall. One of the trees is decorated for Christmas with itsy-bitsy fuchsia ornamentsa few have fallen into the snow near the deer. I didn’t get the lid completely straight, so the logo is canted a little when viewing the back, Just thought I would point this out in case it bothers you. Just fun for Christmas. 5 tall Vintage Christmas Miniature Vignette With Deer Salt Shaker in Santa Hat Bottlebrush Tree Forest
