On offer is this lovely trio of miniature measures. They’re in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - slight ware around the base edge of the handled measure exposing the base copper metal; notable light scuffs & scratches over them commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the set. They’re of traditional form, plain in design yet so stylish in appearance. Two measures are marked One Fifth Gill & the other (handled) with 1/6 Gill. The interiors are clean & shine up well still - notable darkened areas however around the base of the handled measure (please refer to images). Unmarked for a maker, possibly by Mitchell & Cooper of London, each base is marked Bonzer. They also share the same locality number 1051, & are also dated - the fifth gill measures for 1968 & the sixth gill measure for 1967. They measure a charming 4.5cm (1 & 3/4 inches) & 5.4cm (almost 2 & 1/4 inches) in outer height & are ready to be collected & enjoyed once again! The postage quote is for a Royal Mail tracked & insured service. I also offer combined postage options so please do get in touch if you’re interested in more than one item/ lot.
