This is an absolutely stunning Sterling silver-handled bar set by Carrs of Sheffield comprising a corkscrew, a bottle cap remover & a combi serrated edge cheese pick / bottle opener. I believe that the screw section + the bottle cap remover section + the cheese pick are silver plated stainless steel as I think solid silver would be too soft for purpose but all the handles are heavy quality solid Sterling silver. They are all fully hallmarked with the makers mark RC, the lion passant, 925, the Sheffield assay mark, & the date mark b for 2002. The corkscrew round handle measures approx. 3.85 long x 0.6 thick & it is app. 4 from top to tip & It weighs app. 65 grams.The bottle opener eliptical handle is app. 4 long x 0.7 wide x 0.6 thick & is app. 6.1 long overall weighing 91.2 grams. The combi tool eliptical handle is app. 4 long x 0.7 wide x 0.6 thick & is app. 9 long overall & weighs app. 83.4 grams. THE CORKSCREW ALONE WAS RECENTLY LISTED ON EBAY AT 185 DISCOUNTED ONLINE. They have never been taken out of the original packaging having been in storage for over 15 years & have never been privately owned. They are in mint condition but the box has suffered some staining due to water damage when the storage unit became partially flooded.
