THIS PIECE HAS SOLD & REMAINS in MY SHOP AS A PORTFOLIO PIECE This unique 1920s Antique Dresser/Armoire is a rare find! Made of solid wood with dovetail drawers, original hardware & mirror, this piece has received a stunning transformation. Extensive time was invested into removing 3 layers of existing paint from every inch of this piece. Once complete, this piece was hand painted using Fusion Mineral Paint in Putty, then sanded smooth with moderate distressing applied for a timeworn farmhouse aesthetic. The tops & front legs were stripped & re-stained in a dark walnut. The drawer sides were decoupaged with a gorgeous Tim Holtz botanical collage paper. A baroque style paintable wallpaper was applied to the shaker style armoire door & was painted in Putty for cohesiveness. The interior of all drawers, as well as the armoire cubby, were freshly lined with the same baroque style wallpaper. New vintage style hardware completes this stunning, one-of-a-kind piece.
