On offer is this charming vintage salt shaker. It’s in good condition overall, the white metal mount shines up well still - notable specs of corrosion all over as well as notable ware over the chromed top but as shown in the photos all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It’s of traditional barrel form, the body crafted from a natural material then mounted all over with a low grade silver plated base metal - this has been profusely decorated with an intricate floral pattern which still stands out on display. The chromed top has a series of holes perfect for shaking or sprinkling - there is also a slide for filling up. Unmarked for a maker, French produced circa Art Deco era. Marked on the underside for 900 low grade silver mount. It measures a charming 5.7cm (2 & 1/4 inches) in total height & despite the condition issues raised is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
