These glasses are made from an original wine bottle. The neck of the glass used to be the stem so you get a little bit more wine than you were expecting, perfect for someone who loves wine. The make an unsual gift for someone who is environmentally conscious or wants to make a statement with their decor. This style of glass uis popular as a gift for weddings or a new home present. Each glass is about 17cm high & hold approx 250ml of liquid. We don’t recommend you wash these in the dishwasher. The packaging we use is 100% recyclable & we encourage you to recycle/reuse it afterwards. After studying glass making at university, I have been working professionally with recycled glass for over 20 years, selling my work at Covent Garden & Spittalfields craft markets in london. Over that time I have worked hard to design my tools & techniques to ensure the glasses have a very smooth, rounded rim. The majority of the bottles I use come from bars & restaurants in London, plus a few friends who leave their empty bottles on the doorstep of my East London workshop! We are passionate about recycling & giving new life to old bottles.
