Vintage Universal Potteries Inc Cambridge Ohio Blue & White Ovenproof Stoneware Cork Stopper Pitcher & Cup Set - 30’s Deco I have never seen this pitcher as a set with the matching cups, I’ve only ever seen it with a matching mixing bowl before. I think the design is very unique & appealing, & is absolutely stunning in person. There is crazing all over the surface of the white glaze portions, however this part of the design. All pieces are free from chips or breaks & still have wonderful color. The marker’s mark is rather lengthy but the fascinating take away is ‘Protected by Design Pat No… & National Brotherhood of Operative Potters’ in the middle is an eyeball over a seal which in turn is over a hand shake (see photo). Overall a beautiful set that would look wonderful in any home!
