This hand & foot print kit is easily imprinted by the following steps: 1. Feel the softness of the clay pad as it will be affected by the ambient temperature. If the clay is hard, you can soak the unopened ink pad in warm water at 40 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes & then take it out to use. 2. Depending on the length of your baby’s hands & feet, normally a six month old baby can take out two-thirds of the clay to make. Knead the clay for 2-3 minutes to make it soft. 3. Lay the plastic packaging film of the clay on the work surface & put the clay on top of it. Then using the palm of your hands & the small rolling pin ( included in the kit) to make the clay have a smooth & flat surface. Make sure the clay to be evenly thick & the thickness should not exceed 1.5cm otherwise it will not fit in the photo frame. 4. Make sure your baby’s hand & feet are clean & then slowly press the baby’s small hands & feet evenly & firmly on the clay for 5-10 seconds (applying a small amount of baby cream may help with the impression) If you are not satisfied, please repeat steps 1-3 immediately. 5. Before painting, you need to shake the golden paint without adding water & then applying a thin layer of paint (like nail polish). Brush the hand & foot print with paint every half an hour for three times to complete the colour. Please allow for 48 hours for the clay & paint to fully dry. 6. Finally use the glue provided to stick the clay hand & foot prints to the backboard paper, & then arrange the other accessories to make a unique piece of wall decor for you!
