Presented is a neat Victorian coral & pearl 14K gold pin. A stylized palm frond arcs over a gold bar set with a large pearl. Three coral drops dangle beneath the bar. The pearl is a later replacement of a flat stone, & it is very likely a cultured pearl. The piece was made between the 1860s & 1880s, & it was likely made in America. The piece is unmarked, as is typical of Victorian jewelry from this time period. We have tested it with nitric acid & guarantee it to be 14K gold. The condition is excellent. The gold & pearl are in great shape. There is mild fretting to the tops of the coral teardrops, but this is only noticeable on close inspection. There are no other problems or repairs. The pin measures 1 inch wide & 1 1/4 inches long. The weight is 3.7 grams. Neat 1860S-1880S Victorian Coral Dangle Pearl 14K Gold Pin Brooch
