Mid Century French Picnic Basket in bamboo wicker rattan & wrapped rope construction with quilted & fabric lining inside the large compartment. Curved & domed shape with two large swing style carry handles & two compartments for wine bottles. Large, the overall measurements are 22 1/2 wide, 12 tall & 13 deep. Main larger compartments has plenty of room for food & cheese, & there are varied size pockets for things such as your wine glasses. It shows some normal age & wear use to the finish, mostly on top, & some of the wrapping on the rope is chipped off, & there are a few frayed pierces & possibly one missing small piece of the wicker, though hard to notice, ( please see photos as I took close up pics of this). Inside the basket the fabric looks new! The handle hinges & lid spring things work well. Handles are in great condition. There is a thin wooden bottom, which is in good condition as well. The fabric has been manufactured to secure & fit in the basket with clear plastic string (like fishing line) & you can see some of these loops on top, it was just made that way.
