At Ragnarok Designs all of our furniture is designed, engineered & built to last a life time. A ’live edge’ version of our classic bench with classic loop shaped legs. A simple & cost effective seating solution to complement rustic industrial style tables or as a stand alone item. The legs made from 25 x 50cm box section 2mm thick steel, are fully welded & have extra wide fixing plates which are fixed with inserts & bolts, rather than screws to prevent any racking or movement. Our benches are very robust & stable. The tops are 35mm thick wood which has been sanded to 250 grit although the natural markings & character (such as saw marks), has been retained to give it a rustic industrial look. The wood is finished in Briwax, a premium quality furniture wax & a variety of colours are available. We use threaded furniture inserts & bolts - you’ll just need a 10mm spanner for assembly. All fixings are supplied & all components are colour coded to ensure any assembly is intuitive & as easy as possible. Because we make everything here in our UK workshop we can tweak & alter dimensions to suit your own individual requirements we are also happy to accept personal designs & commissions.
