At Ragnarok Designs all of our furniture is designs, engineered & built to last a lifetime. This industrial/reclaimed style bench with steel loop legs is designed to compliment tables with loop legs. This bench makes a simple & cost effective seating solution to complement to rustic industrial tables. Our tables have leg spacing 20cm shorter than the overall length. So, if you want to store the bench under the table when not in use you will need to order a bench 20cm shorter, for example a 140cm table would require a 120cm bench. The legs are made from fully welded 25 x 50cm box section 2mm thick steel which has been finished in a clear durable lacquer. The extra wide base plates & insert & bolt fixing method means that these bench are easy to assemble, are very stable & built to endure family life. The tops are 35mm thick wood which has been sanded to 240 grit although the natural markings & industrial character has been retained. The wood is then finished in Briwax, a premium quality furniture wax which is available in a wide variety of colours. We use threaded furniture inserts & industrial grade fixings - you’ll just need a 10mm spanner for assembly. We fully assemble everything as part of our final QC checks & colour code all the parts to make the assemble very easy & intuitive. Because we make everything here in our UK workshop we can tweak & alter dimensions to suit your own individual requirements we are also happy to accept personal designs & commissions.
