Traditional Shaker styled box made specifically to keep rings or earrings safe & present them attractively. Hand made using either maple wood (pale) or cherry wood (mid brown) with lids inset with cherry, burr walnut, burr oak or birds eye maple. The wooden bands forming the sides are steam bent & fastened with the iconic swallowtail joints found in all Shaker boxes & solid copper tacks, sourced from the USA & made on some of the original 1800’s machines. The boxes are lined with organically grown felt, sourced from Bellacouche award winning felt specialists. Felt is recommended for storing jewellery & helps to prevent tarnishing. Ideal for keeping wedding rings or as a gift box for an anniversary or birthday present. Finished outside with hard wax oil & microcrystalline wax to enhance the natural beauty of the wood.
