(Each transfer comes with a small flat wooden rubbing stick, so you don’t need a transfer tool, but some prefer the tool over the wooden stick). This pad is used by many to remove any air pockets in the transfer once applied. It is important for the product to adhere completely so it lasts a long time; & especially if a water-based top coat is added (we don’t want the liquid to get underneath the transfer) … you don’t have to purchase this, because we’ve sometimes used a small hand towel & our finger to run over the transfer to make sure it’s completely adhered.
