I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now & many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers & art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted.. Item is made of 100% solid cedar with a light oak finish. Frame listed has a custom gold letterd 5x24 sign mounted with the lettering Dad’s Man Cave & has a total frame size of 7 1/2 x 26 1/2. I have created this lettering on a black matboard with appx 2 1/2 lettering as shown in pictures protected with the UV stabilized plexiglas. The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 1 1/2 wide & 3/4 thick. Frame has thick 1/8 UV stabilized plexiglas (I use only the more expensive UV plexiglas instead of glass for protection of item being mounted & also for protection in shipping) with a foamboard backing secured with metal easy removable & reusable points. All hardware for hanging is included with purchase. Although this item is made for wall hanging it can be rested on shelves for displaying. Frame has a light oak finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used in construction of frame. No two cedar frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used.
