I have been making these rare hard to find solid cedar frames for many years now & many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers & art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted.. Item is made of 100% solid cedar with a light oak finish. Frames listed are for 2 7X13 custom gold lettered MEN & WOMEN signs with each a total frame size of 9 1/2 x 15 1/2. I have created these signs with custom gold lettering as shown on black matboard with 1/8 thick UV stabilized plexiglas for protection. Women’s lettering is appr 2 3/4 & the mens lettering is appr 3 1/2 in size. The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 1 1/2 wide & 3/4 thick. Frame has thick 1/8 UV stabilized plexiglas (I use only the more expensive UV plexiglas instead of glass for protection of item being mounted & also for protection in shipping) with a foamboard backing secured with metal easy removable & reusable points. All hardware for hanging is included with purchase. Frames have a light oak finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used in construction of frame. No two cedar frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid cedar used.
