Shorter & Sons Flour Sifter in White with Purple & Blue Flowers. It is glazed pottery & comes in very good, used condition with the plastic stopper in the base. There is some crazing to the glaze. Can be used for sugar, flour, talc, salt etc. I believe it is circa 1960s. It stands 13cm tall. The name ‘Shorter’ & ‘England’ are impressed into the base but are unreadable. I have another of these in orange where the name is readable. Shorter & Son were sold to S. Fielding & Co in 1963, the owners of the Crown Devon name.
