Engraved Mid Century Modern Japanese Akoya Saltwater Cultured Pearl Black Onyx Cufflinks & Tie Bar Set - Sterling Silver

This is a detailed set of mid century modern Japanese akoya saltwater cultured pearl & black onyx cufflinks & tie bar. The pearls are 5.50mm & round. Pearls have great luster with bright rosy overtones. They are set into hand cut black onyx & hand engraved sterling silver. The edges are accented with delicate milgrain. They are made of solid sterling silver & stamped SILVER & STERLING 950 which is a little more pure than standard sterling. Cufflinks are 5/8 x 6/8 inch & tie bar is 2 inch long. From Japan 1950’s-1960’s. All pearls are truly vintage & have only been lightly cleaned. Small chip at the bottom of the onyx on tie bar.
