This is for 5 Emperor tulip ‘Oracle’ bulbs aka Fosterina tulips. Emperor tulips are the 1st tulips to bloom of the year. Tulips are supposed to come back every year but they are known to be unreliable. They should be planted in the fall before the ground freezes. Because they need a period of 8-12 weeks of cold in order to bloom they tend to be though of as a northern plant but if your like me & live in the south there is a way to cheat…the refrigerator. Put the bulbs in the fridge for 8-12 weeks before planting them. in the south we can plant them as late as the end of December & as long as they’ve been in the fridge for 8-12 weeks you can enjoy tulips like your northern relatives. They can be planted in the ground of in pots. Emperor Tulip Oracle 5 Bulbs
