Edwardian 9Ct Gold Frame Oval Shaker Locket

A really nice antique locket, made from 9ct gold. The outer frame is carved in a Georgian style. I don’t know the name of the design, but it was used on borders & frames on jewellery in the early 19th century. I like the contrast of this busy, detailed pattern, & the polished rose-gold surface of the inner frame. The locket has glass on both sides.
