On offer are these two charming miniature shakers / pepperettes. They’re in good condition overall, the remaining silver plate shines up well still - extensive ware however over them both exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone) as well as notable light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age; there are also a number of verdigris specks around their exterior & a few small dents around the tops which catch the light (please refer to images) but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of them. They’re in the novelty form of a charming egg supported by ball feet & feature a screw-on top decorated with a series of small holes perfect for sprinkling & shaking. Both insides are relatively clean still - notable pitting & ware to the smaller shaker as expected with age & usage. Unmarked for a maker, Sheffield produced, circa first quarter of the 20th century. The smallest measures a charming 38mm in height including the feet & the other 55mm including the feet & finial. A delightful duo which despite the condition issues raised are ready to be collected & enjoyed once again! The postage quote is for a Royal Mail tracked & insured service. I also offer combined postage options so please do get in touch if you’re interested in more than one item/ lot.
