Butterfly Tealight Holder - Vase Hand Engraved Candle Gifts Glass Tea Light

This is a clear glass vase/candle holder, hand engraved with butterflies flying all around the form. It is a beautiful, fully functional piece as well as a highly decorative work of art. When lit with a candle the engravings are illuminated & project shadows a short distance. This piece would be great as a treat for yourself or a perfect gift for a birthday, housewarming, wedding, anniversary or particularly lovely as a gift for mum! 11cm tall Drill engraving uses a diamond bur to mark the surface of glass. The technique I use is to carve deep into the glass to simulate depth when viewed from the other side. Then areas are polished & highlighted in such a way to enhance the features of the engraving & create light & shadow. All packaging i.e boxes & bubble wrap is reused/ recycled so that limited new materials are used. (Every little helps in the fight against global warming!) After something a little different?
