This set would make a perfect stocking stuffer or teacher gift. For brown sugar: Soak the terracotta sugar keeper in water for 15-20 minutes. Shake off excess & seal it in a jar/ zip lock bag with your sugar. It will keep your sugar soft & moist, & can even help to rehydrate rock hard sugar!. Repeat every few months for best results. It can also be used to keep dried fruit moist & fresh. For essential oil: Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to the pottery, & place in the bathroom, bedroom, car, suitcase, etc. Enjoy the aromatherapy! Each sugar keeper/ oil diffuser is handmade in my studio from brown terracotta clay, & fired to 1945o Fahrenheit. It is not glazed so that it retains maximum absorbency.
