The opening has gripper teeth & can be adjusted by twisting the top. The base is plastic, & I’m unsure of the metal type but it is lightweight & has a brass toned colour to it which is blotchy in places. in the pictures you can see the gripper fully opened & closed, inside the opening there are letters inscribed ‘DRPA’.
