Mats are painted with all-weather paints & sealed with a UV sealant to ensure that your mat is perfect for your doorstep. CARE INSTRUCTIONS: To prolong the life of your mat, we suggest keeping your mat in a sheltered area & as dry as possible to avoid darkening of the fibers. Should your mat become saturated, hang to dry. To clean, simply shake out… YUP! - Super easy, right?! PLEASE READ: Although we use durable paint, the coir doormat itself will wear down with normal use & is prone to SHEDDING! You may notice variations in the mat, such as darker hard husk spots or clumped coir husk spots- THIS IS OUT OF OUR CONTROL, AS THIS IS HOW IT WAS MANUFACTURED!
