Simple design industrial bar stool (aka ‘Bertie’) made from 20mm steel square section. Welds are left ‘proud’. The steel is protected with a coat of natural beeswax which will prevent rusting of the frame. Bertie Elmsworth’s seat top is made from a single, chunky piece of 45mm thick English Elm - a striking contrast to the raw steel frame. The wood is protected with oil & wax.
