A magnificent cocktail set which came to us as a set but started life on two different sides of the Atlantic; New York meets London! The cocktail shaker was made by the top-notch silversmith, Mappin & Webb of London & the conical shaped cocktail glasses were made by Bernhard Rice’s Sons Inc. of New York. The three piece shaker has an integral ice crushing / breaking spikes in the top portion, always highly sought-after. It is fully marked for this prestigious silversmith on the underside. The six glasses are all marked on the underside for Bernhard Rice’s Sons under the trade name Apollo EPNS (for electro-plated nickel silver) & made in the USA. Just back from our silversmith’s workshop, it has been professionally cleaned & polished, restoring it to it’s former glory. Art Deco in era dating to c.1930’s. The 3/4 pint shaker measures 3 1/4 in diameter x 7 1/2 tall with each cup measuring 2 3/8 in diameter x 2 tall.
