ANTIQUE Set Of Six VICTORIAN CRANBERRY GLASSES This is a superb complete set of 6 cut crystal cranberry wine glasses. The glasses stand on clear crystal foot, facetted stem & which grows into a many sided cut knob & continues to join a cut to clear flower at the bottom the cased & flashed cut crystal cranberry bowls. All six glasses ore of superb quality cut crystal & are in perfect condition, without any chips or flea bites. The glasses are believed to have been made by JOHN WALLSH glass works that were established in Birmingham, England in 1851. Unfortunately the company ceased production in 1951 one hundred years after it was established.. The measurements of these glasses are as follows: height: 5, just under 13 cms, rim diameter just over 2 1/2. about 7cms. Cranberry glass is highly sought after as it is difficult to produce & it has to be produced under controlled conditions & because of this it is a thing of the past.
