This listing is for a beautiful melon shaker in the Mt. Washington style dating from the late 1800s (cannot determine if it is a Mt Washington piece). The 5-lobed piece has a hand-painted floral design in shades of deep crimson, blue & greens. The gorgeous twist top is in excellent condition, threads are all intact & lid screws on securely. Metal is unmarked & shaker contains no maker’s mark. Shaker measures approximately 2 5/8 wide & 1 tall. This is a gently pre-loved item in very good condition. Please note that shaker has some age-related discoloration; I sell items as found & leave any cleaning to the buyer. Pre-owned items may show signs of wear & customary signs of age & are sold AS IS.
