1920s Cut Glass Sugar Sifter Details ~ Elegant sugar sifter, from the roaring 20s. Lovely cut glass body with the silver mount & pierced cap. The silver is hallmarked to show this was made in Birmingham in 1924 the makers are John Grinsell & Sons. The base has the distinctive star cut into the it, the glass body has geometric cross cuts, diamond & linier designs. The silver top is pierced with diamond shapes. Lovely caster for sprinkling sugar over your fruit or deserts, or maybe sprinkling caster sugar over your Victoria sponge or mince pies! Condition ~ Very Good antique condition.
