A fine & impressive antique Victorian 0.18 carat sapphire & seed pearl, 0.08 carat diamond & 18 carat yellow gold bar brooch; part of our diverse antique jewellery collections This fine & impressive antique Victorian brooch has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold. The horizontal bar is ornamented with a central 0.18ct round faceted cut sapphire, flanked with two individually set Old European cut diamonds, totalling 0.08ct, all four-claw set. Either end of this antique brooch is embellished with a vertical linear arrangement of three seed pearls, to a trefoil shaped terminal incorporating a further three impressive seed pearls. The horizontal bar setting has a satin finish & is ornamented with applied ball motifs to the sides. This pearl brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin & clasp. This impressive antique Victorian gemstone bar brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) & verified as 18ct yellow gold.
