Allta Wine Bar Dublin

Allta wine bar in Dublin markets itself simply as “a wine bar with food.” When you visit you will see there’s a lot of thought and research that has been put into both the concept and the menu. It showcases the quality of a vast range of talented Irish producers.

Low-key, Simple And Completely Irresistible

The venue was launched in 2019 and the owner partnered up with well-known chef Hugh Higgins. It’s a relaxed, cosy and unpretentious venue with a cool and casual atmosphere. Everything you see around you, from the eye-catching artwork to the tableware itself, comes from a bevy of high-quality local producers.

Allta is the Irish word for wild and this place is packed with imaginative food and cool vibes. There are terrazzo floors, Irish elm tables and arresting wall murals. Dine to the sound of vinyl tracks on tactile dishes by Fermoyle Pottery and use handmade steak knives from Sam Gleeson.

Sustainable High-quality Irish Ingredients

Allta Wine Bar Dublin isn’t cheap, but the ingredients and cooking are second to none. Made with sustainable Irish ingredients, there’s everything from snacks to sharing platters, each one delicious. From oysters with rhubarb flavoured vinegar to skate lollipops in seaweed cream, these dishes are exciting. Allta is fun and friendly with an amazing menu and a collection of interesting wines. It’s fresh, fabulous and well worth a visit.
